Testimonial:
“Vanpooling helped to retain our key employees when we relocated to Suffern and, in large part, the ridesharing program helped to make our move a success”, declared Burt Steinberg, Dress Barn executive. MetroPool was there to assist Dress Barn with the formation of the vanpools when the company moved from Stanford, CT to their headquarters in Rockland County over a decade ago and MetroPool has also helped to maintain the vans throughout the 10-plus years. Dress Barn has a strong commitment to supporting their employees with their vanpool commute option by subsidizing the rider’s fares by 75%. Still today, Dress Barn employees drive three vans each day to and from work. Funded by the New York State Department of Transportation, MetroPool promotes the EasyStreetNY as a low cost, all–inclusive vanpool program which includes all gas costs, tolls, insurance and maintenance.
