Be a Part of the RBA’s Technology Initiative

Agenda Tentatively Set for Next Several Months

July 17, 2006
By Dylan Skriloff

"The times are a changing" and these days its technology that’s leading the way. The RBA has its own discussion and presentation group dedicated to keeping members apprised of the latest developments and business applications in the arena of technology.

Group meetings occur 4:00 pm at Dominican College the first Thursday of every month. A table shows the group’s tentative agenda for the next several months.

The RBA Technology Initiative, co-chaired by Les Neumann and Howard Reiss, was founded in 2004; primarily to help Rockland business owners discover outlets to broadband Internet service.

"The Technology Initiative is critical because we all need the knowledge," Fran Reinstein of Mortgage World Bankers, Inc. said. As a person with a natural aversion to tech knowledge she tries to attend as many of the meetings as possible to keep up with things.
