SUNY Rockland's Center for Personal and Professional Development's Small Business Series is offering small business owners more than a dozen new courses this March and April.
Six human resources courses will be offered by RBA member Lena Bodin, MBA, SPHR and a Pump Up The Volume series instructed by RBA member Sharon Salter will teach attendees better presentation skills and ideas for creating their own importing-exporting businesses.
New courses covering:
- time management skills
- recordkeeping
- tips on cold calling
- sexual harassment
and a new series in marketing will also be featured along with many returning classes such as QuickBooks for Beginners instructed by RBA staff member Mindy Ross and a course in Business Presentations Using PowerPoint 2003 instructed.
Most courses in the business series will be offered during March and April, though a few have already taken place in February. All three of SUNY Rockland's campuses are hosting courses for the series.
