PEARL RIVER- RBA CEO and President Al Samuels has been elected to the Board of Directors of Volumetric Fund, the only mutual fund headquartered in Rockland County. The announcement was made at the fund’s annual meeting on June 14, 2007.
As chief executive of the influential business organization since its inception, Volumetric Fund CEO Gabriel Gibs, said Samuels had displayed keen intuition and leadership abilities that led him to believe he’d be a productive member of the Volumetric board.
“I was flattered by the invitation to join the board of Volumetric Fund. I believe this to be a testament to the positive impact of the RBA,” Samuels said.
Volumetric Fund, established in 1978 and public since 1987, is a no-load stock fund whose objective is capital growth in conjunction with preservation capital. The fund’s investment adviser, Volumetric Advisers, has been a member of the RBA since 1993.
