Say goodbye to the “Relationship Building Network” meeting, and say hello to the Rockland Business Association’s revamped “Relationship Building Network.” Staying true to its new name, the monthly breakfast will focus on long-term relationship building and not just quick sells.
“We want to increase the opportunity for members to get to know each other’s businesses,” said Joan Neumann, RBA Vice President, Administration. Now, at every meeting several members will have the opportunity to give a brief company overview to the group.
“The RBA has always distinguished itself in comparison with pure leads groups by focusing on long-term relationship building,” said RBA President/CEO Al Samuels. “Being successful in business is not about the sale you make today, but your ability to continue making them tomorrow.”
The new breakfast will cost only $15 per member, a 25 percent price reduction. The RBA hopes the lower cost will attract more members to the breakfast, which brings out about 45 people each month. Moreover, RBA members who bring a guest will receive free admission for them and their guest.
“There’s a core group of people who come all the time, but we need to bring in new faces and change it up a little,” said Keith Swanson, a table leader and Vice President of Investments at UBS Financial Services in Pearl River. “By having people at each table give a brief highlight about their company, it will help everyone see what they’re doing, and not just at their table.”
The first “Relationship Building Network” will be on January 10th at the Casa Mia Manor House at 577 Route 303 in Blauvelt from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. |
