Public Voting Open Now Through April 9; Winners Announced April 12, 2010. ISI Solar, a Rockland County based company that designs and installs solar energy systems, announced today that it has been selected as one of the top thirty finalists in the VerticalResponse ‘New Deal’ for Small Business competition. Members of the ISI Solar team found the contest online while researching small business initiatives. They were excited about the prospect of promoting their company and potentially winning a $5K grant, so they entered a 4 minute video highlighting their business, explaining why they do what they do, and how they would allocate the winnings. James Albert, President and Founder of ISI Solar: "If we won, we would take that money and invest it in projects that would allow us to show the public what can be done as far as renewable energy technologies, and conservation of energy, which is the primary thing. Not everyone can install solar, but everyone can conserve energy." Public Voting Held Until April 9, 2010 Small business finalists, including ISI Solar, will be on the competition page (http://newdeal.verticalresponse.com/) for public voting until April 9, 2010. Members of the public are encouraged to visit the VerticalResponse ‘New Deal’ competition page and vote for their favorite small business. The prize winners will be announced on April 12, 2010 on the competition page.About ISI Solar |
