Women’s Leadership Council is about professional women supporting each other in collaborative and riveting discussions about today’s and tomorrow’s business.
December Meetings are held on Thursday at the end of the month, 8:00-9:30 a.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel in Nanuet.
This quarter, we took a peek at unique professional women in "non-traditional" roles and had a great session on communication.
Our recent Fashion Show was sponsored by Avon and “dressed” by Lord and Taylor. All of our member models in the Fashion Show had fun “strutting their stuff” and showing off their beautiful outfits for the audience. In addition to the show, the attendees had an opportunity to practice dance therapy, yoga and meditation. In addition, there were vendors selling jewelry, soap and other items. The event was attended by over 60 women and was hugely successful.
Our new Member Profile Coordinator, Luisa Echon, People’s United Bank, accepted the position to facilitate our member spotlight. We want to thank Judith Bachman, Esq. who previously led this segment. The highlighted member answers questions regarding how she was inspired, steps taken to reach her goals and leadership qualities she learned along the way.
WLC builds leadership tips into every facet of our activities. Copies of articles, books and resources are always available. Speakers stay after their presentations to answer any additional questions or comments. All of this assists in building connections and broadening business horizons.
The 11th Annual RBA Women's Leadership Council Fashion Show was a wonderful success with Avon cosmetic make-overs and beautiful fashions from Lord & Taylor. Our very own RBA women modeled their designer wear at Crestview Conference Center in W. Nyack, NY.
Fashionable fun as RBA women model Lord & Taylor's designer dreamwear.
